Case study
Smart switch
An ESP32 relay follows the dashboard or automation scripts, with timed auto-off and switch state restored from NVS after reboot or power loss.
Why
We needed our own MQTT path for motors and loads instead of a closed smart-plug app, with switch state that survives power cuts.
How
The ESP32 energizes a relay from ON/OFF (and AUTO where used) in the dashboard or from automation scripts.
A running auto-off timer and the last mode are stored in NVS so reboots and outages do not leave loads stuck on or forget how you left them.
Water fill motor
Used as the water motor driving switch alongside water tank monitor v2.
Bakhoor (scent warmer)
Scheduled turn-on from automation with five-minute auto-off.
Room Switch Board
A six-channel relay with smart-switch capabilities controls room lights and fans from wall buttons and from the portal.
